The artist says "painting a 'wine bar 'has been an idea I have been wanting to create for a while. Having painted the wine version, red was next on the list, friends around me like red and so I found gathering nice red bottles and easy task! The colours are rich and layered, like a good wine -with pops of vivid orange and pinks in the mix which gives the painting a warmth and a glow. The original painting is 95x95cm and it is also 2 limited edition prints, here is the 40x40cm large print.
Pam Glew, co-curator of Paxton + Glew, is a mixed media painter. She has shown internationally in solo shows from London to Sydney and has exhibited at Dallas Contemporary and Honolulu Museum of Art.
