Lena Goodison
Lena Goodison is a Swedish self taught contemporary artist that lives and works in Nottingham, UK.
She creates colourful, bold pieces, often human portraits, still life and cats that are superimposed, abstract and mystical.
The main materials she likes to use are acrylics on heavy paper or wooden boards.
Lena’s background in photography (having worked in editorial in Stockholm and also studied film making) helps her to create narratives with a cinematic aesthetic.
She hopes her work will evoke beauty, harmony and also a sense of fun and wonder.
Clients include;
IKEA, Hoxton Hotel, Soho House, artwork for EP covers (music) and private commissions both in UK and overseas.'
