‘An Eye for an Eye’ 16.8 x 21.6 cm
Keira Rathbone has developed her own unique technique of drawing by using the different letters, numbers, and symbols from a manual typewriter to produce images. She sees ‘each imprint as a texture or shape with which to build complete images.’
Bird’s eye view from the top pod of the London Eye looking down over the Thames to the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben. The scene is mostly monochromatic with some flashes of red on the clothing of people in the pod, a bus on Westminster bridge and on the edge of the river.
