A trip to the seaside isn’t the same without a bag of fish and chips, and always, just as you put a chip to your mouth, a winged beastie swoops down from out of nowhere and snatches it from your very fingers.
Things are no different if you’re a Greek God either.
In this scene, Poseidon has taken shore leave to romance Aphrodite the Goddess of Love with a walk along the beach and a fish and chip dinner. Just as they are about to eat, a mob of seagull headed Harpies launch an attack and ruin the moment.
This really is an exceptional quality print, created from 5 separate silk screens, with each layer printed in a subtly different tone of black and precisely registered by hand to create as photographic an image as possible. The golden chips are picked out as a detail and hand finished in gold leaf.
From a small and collectable edition of just 50.
